A day of fun

My mom came down today and we went to Layton to meet her sister, my cousin, and her kids for shopping and lunch.  We then went to Amy's new house and the girls played dress up.  Kyra, of course, loves to dress in her Cinderella and Aurora dresses at home, so she was in heaven to be Snow White and Ariel!

Dr visit

Today I took the kids in to the doctor for Kyra's annual checkup and Braydon to get his allergies in check.  They both needed flu shots and Braydon did not like that!  Kyra was fine though.  Braydon ended up having Strep for the very first time.  So much for school and the dentist that day!

NO MORE TRUCK PAYMENT!

Well we finally sold our truck!  This is going to save us mucho dinero (YAY). We bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer free and clear with our profit!  Ah relief :)

Today my parents came to check out what the kids got for Christmas.  So the kids conned them into playing their games with them ;-)

Totally New to Blogging

So this is my first attempt at the whole blogging thing...how am i doin? Hehehe

Yesterday I went to one of my good friend's wedding. It was so great seeing Erin get married! My friends Aimee and Muriel were there as well. The four of us high school friends have tried to get together around Christmas to catch up each year, but the past few years we have not done so well. The thing is we aren't all that far away from each other, but my working at nights complicates things alot.

When I got home, I fed my kids and we rang in the new year together! Chris had a huge headache so he was trying to sleep. Not so easy with 2 screaming kids in the next room ;)
